Welcome to Long loong
When an imported TPO membrane shipment is split between a warehouse and several roofing projects, the receiving team needs a record for each allocation. A count of delivered rolls alone leaves questions about product identity and the condition in which the material arrived.
This checklist is a suggested receiving workflow for importers, distributors and project buyers. It does not replace the agreed inspection plan, product testing or the contractor’s approval of the roofing system. For product information, review the Long Loong TPO membrane page.

Compare the purchase order, packing list and available package labels. Record the product reference and the agreed dimensions or construction details shown in those documents. Keep different order items separate during the count. If identification is missing or inconsistent, ask the supplier to clarify before allocating the material.
Where batch or roll numbers are provided, photograph them and link them to the receiving record. Do not assume that every shipment uses the same marking system.
Photograph crushed packaging, wet areas, torn protection or shifted loads as received. Include a wider photograph showing the package position and a close-up of the issue. Record which packages were checked and how many rolls were affected.
When inspection requires opening a package, follow the agreed sampling and handling instructions. Note visible edge damage, tears or deformation separately from packaging damage. Appearance alone cannot confirm membrane performance or seam quality.
Keep questionable rolls identifiable and separate from material awaiting routine allocation. Send the supplier the order reference, photographs, item details and affected quantity. Retain labels and packaging while the issue is reviewed. Record the agreed disposition before the rolls are released, returned or otherwise handled.
For each dispatch to a project, record the product reference, quantity, destination and available roll identification. Pass the applicable handling, storage and installation documents to the receiving team. Obtain the instructions for the exact supplied material instead of assigning a generic stacking limit or storage period.
Receipt into a warehouse does not approve a roof detail or a welding procedure. The project team must still confirm the selected membrane, accessories and installation requirements.
Use one record linking the order, delivery paperwork, photographs and subsequent supplier correspondence. If you are preparing a new TPO order, include the application, required product information, quantity and destination in your enquiry to Long Loong. For questions to resolve before ordering, refer to the existing TPO procurement checklist.
