SBS Modified Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane
Long Loong supplies SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membranes for importers, distributors, contractors and project procurement teams. The range is configured around the installation method, reinforcement carrier and surface finish required by the project. Instead of forcing every buyer into one standard roll, we confirm the construction, surface, packing and order requirements before production.
Our own factory production videos show the membrane line in operation and finished rolls being prepared for supply. For wholesale and project orders, we can discuss OEM/ODM labeling, distributor cooperation, packing requirements and technical document needs. Final dimensions, performance requirements and applicable test standards are confirmed against the approved order and technical sheet.
Available SBS Membrane Types
Torch-Applied SBS Membrane
Torch-applied membrane is designed for heat bonding by trained installers. It is commonly selected for roof waterproofing, renovation work and other construction systems where a fully bonded bituminous membrane is specified. A PE film bottom surface can be supplied for torch application. Open-flame work must follow the project method statement, local fire rules and site safety controls.
Self-Adhesive SBS Membrane
Self-adhesive membrane uses a removable release liner and is considered when a flame-free application method is preferred. Substrate condition is especially important: the surface should be clean, dry, stable and prepared with a compatible primer when required by the system design. Self-adhesive construction can be discussed for roofs, details and below-grade waterproofing projects subject to the approved specification.
Reinforcement Carrier Options
Polyester felt (PY): selected where flexibility, tensile performance and resistance to construction handling are important.
Fiberglass felt (G): selected where dimensional stability is a key purchasing consideration.
Project-specific constructions: reinforcement and membrane structure are confirmed according to the required standard, application and order specification.
Surface Finish Options
PE film or smooth surface: suitable for torch-applied layers and concealed waterproofing systems, depending on the system design.
Fine sand surface: available for buyers who require a sand-finished membrane for handling or compatibility with the next system layer.
Mineral or slate granules: available as a cap-sheet surface where a granulated finish is specified.
Colored mineral granules: available for projects or distributor ranges that require a colored exposed finish; color selection is confirmed before production.
Root-resistant construction: available for project discussion when a root-resistant waterproofing system is specified. The required test standard and full system design must be confirmed before ordering.

Typical Application Areas
SBS modified bitumen membranes are commonly considered for commercial and industrial roofs, roof renovation, podiums, basements, foundations, underground structures and civil construction waterproofing. The correct membrane construction depends on the substrate, exposure, drainage, movement, local climate and the complete waterproofing system.
